Your tasks

  • You work actively on and review the ongoing accounting of our national and European companies
  • You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (local GaaP and US Gaap) in cooperation with local tax advisors, auditors and the US headquarters    
  • You process ZM, Intrastat and sales tax reports as well as intra-European (VAT) tax issues
  • You work on the optimisation of our processes and on projects, for example the implementation of a new ERP system (Infor)
  • You act as a contact person for our management 

Your strengths 

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship and further training to become an - ideally international - Accountant (IHK) or have successfully completed a degree specialising in accounting/taxation
  • You have gained knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP within your solid professional experience in the relevant areas of responsibility
  • You are proficient in MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP and/or Infor
  • You communicate confidently in English and enjoy intercultural interaction
  • You work analytically, reliably, independently, in a structured, process- and solution-orientated way
  • You are characterised by customer- and service-oriented thinking and acting
  • You have a strong motivation for proactive personal development and a high willingness to learn
  • You also have excellent teamwork skills and a pronounced "hands-on" mentality
